What size of pool can this heater effectively heat?

PLC50 has an output of 14000BTU, it can work with pools up to 4000 gal, (9'x18' oval or 15' round). However, its efficiency is greatly affected by the air temperature. If you lived in a northern region, we recommend choosing a larger model PLC70.

Why do we need to put a soalr cover?

If the pool is not covered, there will be significant heat loss. The pool may never reach the right temperature. Therefore, it is crucial to cover the pool to prevent heat loss.

What is the water flow requirement for the unit?

The PLC50 requires a water flow of 600~1000 Gph, with a minimum of 600 Gph.

Can the unit work with saltwater?

Certainly! The euipped titanium heat exchangers that are specifically designed for the saltwater.
